Let’s face it. We’re a nation of idiots. Just look at the number of books and operating manuals for “dummies”.

This trend needs to change and it needs to change immediately.

We are subjected to considerable opinions via news media posts, blogs and op-ed pieces that are quoted and presumed to be accurate and factual.

The internet is a remarkable tool, but at the same time, it can be dangerous and manipulative because it can be used to advance the wrong message.

Do not forward e-mail threads that appear to be legitimate without first checking their validity by checking sources.

The recent political races summarize the ludicrousness and misinformation that occurs.

Before posting please:

Check your sources,

1. Count to ten
2. Write intelligently.
3. Refrain from expressing your emotion using hateful rhetoric (unless it’s really funny).
